Small thing that cost me an afternoon once: ET 200SP modules like this one key to their base units, and the light-colored versus dark-colored BaseUnit distinction matters. The dark ones open a new potential group, the light ones carry it through. Swap a module onto the wrong shade and nothing faults clearly, it just does not behave. Keep a photo of the rack before you pull anything...

Last week I spent an hour figuring out what a Siemens flash memory card was worth. Dead forum threads, a PDF from 2009, six eBay tabs open. I buy and sell surplus equipment for a living. If it's that hard for me, it's worse for everyone else.

So I built PartLore.

One page per part number. What it is, what the market is, who has one right now, and the people who know it.

Every part has a story. The projects it ran, what it sold for, the fix that saved a shift. Today that story is scattered across the internet. PartLore puts it under the part number itself, built with the engineers and builders who actually run this stuff.

It's live now with our first authorized seller on board. If you run plants, racks, AV rooms, or a homelab: search a part you know and tell me what's missing.

That's the whole ask.

Stop digging. Start finding.
