PartLore Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PartLore, including our websites, applications, databases, search tools, product records, pricing information, marketplaces, seller tools, documentation repositories, community features, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
The Services are operated by RBSC LLC, doing business as PartLore (“PartLore,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
1. About PartLore
PartLore is an independent manufacturer part-number encyclopedia, technical-information platform, pricing-information service, and marketplace platform.
PartLore may organize information relating to products and equipment, including:
- manufacturer part numbers;
- manufacturer and brand information;
- product descriptions;
- technical specifications;
- manuals and datasheets;
- product families and aliases;
- compatibility and replacement information;
- application and installation information;
- pricing estimates;
- historical sales observations;
- current inventory and listings;
- seller information;
- repair and service providers;
- system integrators;
- subject matter experts; and
- community-contributed information.
Certain features may not be available in all locations or at all times.
2. No Manufacturer Affiliation
PartLore is independent of the manufacturers, brands, and rights holders referenced through the Services unless expressly stated otherwise.
Unless specifically identified in writing, PartLore is not an authorized distributor, dealer, reseller, representative, repair center, service provider, or agent of any manufacturer or brand owner referenced on the Services.
Manufacturer names, product names, trademarks, model numbers, and part numbers are used for identification, reference, compatibility, informational, and descriptive purposes.

3. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Services.
If you use PartLore on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Certain marketplace, seller, payment, or account features may require users to be at least 18 years old.
4. Accounts
Some PartLore features may require an account.
You agree to:
- provide accurate information;
- keep your account information current;
- maintain the security of your account credentials;
- not share credentials in a manner that compromises account security; and
- promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless prohibited by law.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, present security risks, or are used fraudulently.
5. Product and Technical Information
PartLore attempts to organize useful information about products and equipment, but technical information may be:
- incomplete;
- inaccurate;
- outdated;
- ambiguous;
- based on third-party sources;
- associated with an incorrect revision or variant; or
- subject to manufacturer changes.
You must independently verify critical technical information before relying upon it.
PartLore should not be treated as a substitute for:
- official manufacturer documentation;
- qualified engineering review;
- licensed professional advice;
- electrical or mechanical safety procedures;
- system validation;
- regulatory compliance review; or
- site-specific installation requirements.
Always consult applicable manufacturer documentation and qualified personnel before installing, configuring, modifying, repairing, energizing, or operating equipment.
6. Installation and Application Guidance
PartLore may provide or organize information relating to:
- installation;
- configuration;
- wiring;
- commissioning;
- programming;
- applications;
- compatibility;
- maintenance;
- troubleshooting; and
- system integration.
This content is provided for informational purposes only.
PartLore does not guarantee that any procedure, configuration, compatibility relationship, installation method, or application is safe or appropriate for your circumstances.
Industrial, electrical, automation, networking, datacenter, and other technical equipment can present serious risks if improperly installed or operated.
Users are responsible for obtaining appropriate professional assistance where necessary.
7. Manuals, Datasheets, and Third-Party Documents
PartLore may reference, index, link to, summarize, or otherwise identify manuals, datasheets, catalogs, certificates, service documents, technical bulletins, and other materials originating from third parties.
Ownership of such materials remains with the applicable rights holder.
PartLore does not claim ownership of third-party documentation merely because it is indexed or referenced through the Services.
Availability of a document through PartLore does not indicate manufacturer sponsorship, endorsement, or authorization.
We may remove or restrict access to materials where appropriate.

8. Compatibility and Replacement Information
PartLore may identify products as:
- compatible;
- related;
- equivalent;
- replacement;
- predecessor;
- successor;
- accessory;
- required component; or
- commonly used together.
Such relationships may depend on:
- firmware;
- hardware revision;
- configuration;
- voltage;
- region;
- software version;
- application;
- system architecture; or
- other factors.
Compatibility information must be independently verified before purchase, installation, or use.
9. Pricing and Market Information
PartLore may provide:
- estimated market values;
- historical prices;
- observed sale prices;
- asking prices;
- bidding information;
- price ranges;
- market trends;
- valuation models;
- confidence measures; or
- other pricing information.
Pricing information is informational only.
It is not:
- an appraisal;
- a guarantee of resale value;
- an offer to buy;
- an offer to sell;
- investment advice;
- accounting advice; or
- tax advice.
Actual values may vary substantially depending on condition, location, availability, revision, documentation, accessories, demand, shipping requirements, and other factors.
Past sales do not guarantee future prices.
10. Automated and Derived Information
Certain PartLore information may be produced, normalized, classified, summarized, matched, or estimated using automated systems, algorithms, machine-learning systems, or other computational methods.
Automated results may be incorrect.
Users should independently verify material information before relying upon it.
11. Marketplace and Listings
PartLore may allow sellers to advertise or offer products for sale.
Unless PartLore expressly identifies itself as the seller of an item, listings are offered by independent third-party sellers.
A marketplace listing may contain information provided by the seller, including:
- price;
- condition;
- quantity;
- photographs;
- description;
- shipping terms;
- warranty information; and
- availability.
PartLore does not automatically guarantee the accuracy of seller-provided information.
Buyers are responsible for reviewing listing details before purchasing.
12. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers using PartLore agree that they will:
- accurately describe their products;
- accurately disclose condition;
- have the legal right to sell listed property;
- not list stolen, counterfeit, prohibited, or unlawfully obtained goods;
- comply with applicable export-control laws;
- comply with applicable sanctions laws;
- comply with product safety requirements;
- honor completed transactions;
- provide accurate shipping and fulfillment information; and
- comply with applicable tax and regulatory obligations.
Sellers remain responsible for their inventory and listings.
13. Condition
Terms such as:
- new;
- new surplus;
- unused;
- used;
- tested;
- refurbished;
- repaired;
- remanufactured;
- as-is; or
- for parts
may be based on seller-provided information or PartLore classification.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, PartLore does not independently inspect every listed item.
Buyers should review the applicable listing carefully.
14. Seller Verification
PartLore may offer seller verification or other trust indicators.
Verification may confirm certain information about a seller, but it does not constitute:
- a warranty;
- certification of every product;
- guarantee of performance;
- guarantee of solvency;
- guarantee of lawful conduct; or
- endorsement of every transaction.
Verification standards may change over time.
15. Integrators, Experts, and Service Providers
PartLore may provide information about:
- system integrators;
- repair companies;
- consultants;
- programmers;
- engineers;
- technicians;
- subject matter experts; and
- other service providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, such persons and organizations are independent third parties.
PartLore does not guarantee:
- qualifications;
- licenses;
- certifications;
- availability;
- quality of work; or
- suitability for a specific project.
Where PartLore displays a certification or credential, users remain responsible for verifying that credential with the issuing organization where appropriate.
16. Transactions
Marketplace transactions may be processed directly through PartLore or through third-party payment providers.
Additional terms may apply to:
- payments;
- refunds;
- shipping;
- taxes;
- chargebacks;
- transaction fees;
- commissions; or
- disputes.
The identity of the contracting seller should be shown during the applicable transaction.
Unless PartLore itself is identified as seller, the contract for the product generally exists between buyer and seller.
17. Taxes
Users are responsible for taxes applicable to their transactions except where PartLore is legally required to calculate, collect, withhold, or remit them.
18. Shipping and Logistics
Shipping estimates and delivery times are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.
Industrial equipment may require specialized:
- freight;
- packaging;
- crating;
- hazardous-material handling;
- export documentation; or
- logistics services.
The applicable seller or buyer remains responsible for transaction-specific shipping obligations.
19. Export Controls and Sanctions
Certain equipment, technology, software, and technical information may be subject to United States or foreign export-control or sanctions laws.
You agree not to use PartLore to facilitate unlawful exports, reexports, transfers, or transactions.
You are responsible for determining whether your transaction requires licenses, authorizations, or other regulatory approvals.
20. Community Contributions
If PartLore enables community contributions, users may submit content such as:
- technical notes;
- compatibility observations;
- application examples;
- troubleshooting information;
- corrections;
- comments;
- photographs; or
- other contributions.
You retain ownership of intellectual property you own in your contributions.
By submitting content, you grant PartLore a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, reproduce, display, format, distribute, adapt, index, and use that content in connection with operating and improving the Services.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content.
21. Community Information Is Not Professional Advice
Community contributions represent the views or experiences of individual contributors.
PartLore does not guarantee their accuracy.
Do not rely solely on community content for decisions involving:
- personal safety;
- equipment safety;
- electrical work;
- hazardous machinery;
- regulatory compliance;
- life-safety systems; or
- other high-risk applications.
22. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- violate applicable law;
- access accounts without authorization;
- interfere with the Services;
- introduce malware;
- bypass security controls;
- scrape the Services in a manner prohibited by these Terms;
- overload our infrastructure;
- use PartLore to facilitate fraud;
- impersonate another person or organization;
- submit knowingly false information;
- manipulate marketplace ratings or prices;
- list prohibited or illegal goods;
- infringe intellectual-property rights;
- misuse personal information obtained through PartLore; or
- use the Services to develop a directly competing database by systematically copying substantial portions of PartLore’s proprietary compilation.
23. Automated Access and Data Extraction
Search engines and other automated systems may access publicly available pages only in accordance with:
- applicable law;
- our robots directives;
- published API terms; and
- these Terms.
You may not systematically extract, reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit substantial portions of PartLore’s proprietary database or compilation without our written permission.
This does not restrict lawful use of facts or third-party information that PartLore does not own.
24. PartLore Intellectual Property
PartLore owns or licenses the rights in its own:
- software;
- interface;
- branding;
- original illustrations;
- database architecture;
- taxonomy;
- proprietary compilations;
- pricing models;
- original written content; and
- other original materials.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of PartLore intellectual property to you.
25. Third-Party Intellectual Property
All third-party trademarks, logos, product photographs, manuals, product names, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
PartLore makes no ownership claim merely because third-party material is referenced through the Services.
26. Intellectual-Property Complaints
If you believe content on PartLore infringes your intellectual-property rights, contact admin@arbiengine.com.
Please include enough information for us to identify the material and evaluate your request.
Where applicable, PartLore will respond to valid copyright notices in accordance with applicable law.
27. Third-Party Websites and Services
PartLore may link to:
- manufacturers;
- sellers;
- distributors;
- auction sites;
- documentation repositories;
- payment providers;
- shipping providers;
- affiliates;
- service providers; or
- other third parties.
We do not control third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, availability, security, or performance.
28. Affiliate Relationships
PartLore may receive compensation when users purchase products or services through certain links.
Where required by law, affiliate relationships will be disclosed.
Affiliate compensation does not transfer responsibility for the third-party product or service to PartLore.
29. Service Availability
We may:
- add features;
- remove features;
- modify functionality;
- suspend portions of the Services; or
- discontinue features.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
30. No Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
PARTLORE DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF:
- MERCHANTABILITY;
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE;
- NON-INFRINGEMENT;
- ACCURACY;
- COMPLETENESS;
- AVAILABILITY; AND
- RELIABILITY.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
31. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARTLORE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES.
THIS INCLUDES LOSSES ARISING FROM:
- BUSINESS INTERRUPTION;
- LOST PROFITS;
- LOSS OF DATA;
- INCORRECT TECHNICAL INFORMATION;
- COMPATIBILITY ERRORS;
- EQUIPMENT DAMAGE;
- MARKETPLACE TRANSACTIONS;
- THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT; OR
- RELIANCE ON PRICING INFORMATION.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law.
32. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless PartLore and its affiliates from claims arising from:
- your unlawful use of the Services;
- your listings;
- your content;
- your transactions;
- your violation of these Terms; or
- your infringement of third-party rights.
33. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to:
- protect users;
- prevent fraud;
- protect our systems;
- respond to legal requirements; or
- enforce these Terms.
You may stop using the Services at any time.
34. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms.
The updated Terms will display a revised “Last Updated” date.
Where legally required, we will provide additional notice.
Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
35. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
36. Disputes
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
37. Severability
If part of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
38. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with applicable policies referenced herein, constitute the agreement governing use of the Services.
